Vampires on the TV, as usual

It's been a most glorious day, with vampires fluttering about the television, fighting each other and various demons as usual. This, from the girl that watched all of Buffy (every episode) in order in a semester. I'm slowly hacking my way through Angel as I impatiently wait for the next season of True Blood to come out. I rented 30 Days of Night the other day with the fiancé, liked it heartily. Read the book Sundays with Vlad a while ago, liked that as well, though it had its dull moments. Didn't like Anne Rice or (dare I say it?) S'meyer nearly as much, but I suppose you can't win 'em all. Vampires are just everywhere.

Oh. The paintings.

They're 11" by 14" on canvasboard. Quite lovely. I haven't painted anything big like this in acrylic in a good long while, and I'm pleasantly surprised with how they came out. I didn't even get completely covered in paint this time. I think I might break out the old oil paint set sometime, just to have fun, but on a day when I can open the window and not freeze to death. I hope that time of year may come around soon. Very soon. I'm kind of burned out on the cold and dark, even though I'm sure the vamps are loving it.
